We looking for a highly motivated and proficient chef to join our team in regional Melbourne.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for food and willingness to work partl-time in a fast pacedkitchen environment. The focus of this role comprises managing food preparationand presentation as well as serving high quality menu that brings customer satisfaction.

You will be responsible for:

-Preparing and cooking food in a timely manner

-Selecting choice ingredients that will give dishes the best flavour

-Maintaining smooth operation of the kitchen

-Adjusting menu orders to meet guests’ requests and preferences

-Experimenting to come up with new specialties

-Keeping up with cooking trends to ensure that guests have a positive experience

-Liaise with management and facility staff

-Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene levels of food preparation area and kitchen equipment

-Employing food handling and safety best practices and ensuring kitchen staff members do the same

Tobe successful in this role, ideally you will be able to demonstrate thefollowing skills and attributes:

-Capable of delivering outstanding dishes

Youwill also have the following essential qualifications and experience:

-Certificate III in Commercial Cookery

-Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in Australia
